The Stafford Davis Firm moves to historic Fitzgerald House in Tyler's Azalea District.
The Fitzgerald House, located at 815 South Broadway, was originally constructed in 1898 for the Henry Marsh family, but later sold to Judge J. W. Fitzgerald. The Fitzgerald family lived in the home from 1901 to February 2000. Mary Fitzgerald, Judge Fitzgerald’s wife, was a nationally renowned poet and author, whose handwritten poems were found in the home during a complete renovation in the Spring of 2003. Robert and Becky Wangner completely restored the Fitzgerald House in 2003 and were honored with the Preservation Award by the Tyler Historical Preservation Board for their work.
